Love this door! It’s perfect for keeping our new and current resident cats separated while we slowly introduce them to each other. At first, I thought the door would be flimsy but it does the job Perfectly. Multiple latches available to keep the gate closed in diff areas. Big plus- the door can be ... opened and closed from both sides (which other products didn’t offer). We added a small baby gate to keep our cats from touching each other for now, and it’s the perfect combo :)
Not a cheap gate but it’s tall enough to stop most pets and easily adjustable in height to fit the frame. Only down side are the snap on plastic latches which seem a bit flimsy. I suspect I’ll have to use a bike chain/padlock to reinforce the gate against dog opening.
This extra tall pet gate is a lifesaver! It was very easy to install! I have one cat that terrorizes another one, and this gives her the freedom to roam on half of the house finally! It’s well made! I was hesitant getting this product as it was bo reviews yet, but I am sooo happy I took the chance and bought it. This gate is just what I wanted to be able to (sometimes) keep kitties out of my office. It was super easy to assemble and install and I can still shut the wood door with the gate in place for extra security when not at home.The gate doors stay open when opened to 90 degrees and close automatically ... when pulled shut. This was pretty easy to assemble. It will work for you as long as you don't have super determined animals that want to bust through. My cats decided to respect it and steer clear of it. It is easy to latch and open and close.
Do yourself a favor and use the QR code in the manual to watch a YouTube video of how to put the gate together. Even then, some finagling is needed due to how extended your poles arrived and how wide & tall your door is. The compression is towards the ceiling, not to the sides like I pictured it working. That being said, we changed the installation spot and made it work.

I have had this gate for over two years and have had to moved it several times because of relocation. It works wonderful, definitely would buy another if I ever needed two of them. Had to only do one thing to it and that was putting a screw in the bottom fixture so the white squares would not move, ... not a big deal. Great buy.
Bought it for a stairs. So far so good. My stairs are 2cm too narrow but it's still sturdy, even with the overlap. It's easy to assemble. I didn't realise I had an uneven ceiling but the supports are adjustable so it fits. It's very well made, they thought of everything so it's worth the cost.
I do animal rescue and have 50 cats. (My County’s remedy for Ferrel cats was euthenization). So far 90% have been socialized. And this aids in keeping them out of a room when cleaning
The measurements provided in the product description were accurate, and made the installation quite easy, as was the assembly. So far they are a good solution to keeping 2 nine month old, very energetic and nimble explorers, of the notorious Orange Tabby variety out of a basement room being used as ... an office! This gate solved a huge problem for me. I have to separate a cat into a large bedroom. The room always gets very hot in the summer when the door is closed. At first I was worried that it wouldn't fit my 30 inch door opening but the latches work even with the overlap. The directions are a bit vague, but when I ignored them and just assembled it using common sense it came together fine. Lightweight and does what it says.

With my two dogs this is more of a slight deterrent than it is a full-on prevention piece. The material could be sturdier, but considering the other reviews and information available then none of this is a surprise.
