This is a very nice cat tree. And it's soooo soft. I have 4 cats and 6 trees and I prefer trees like this one that have wood and baskets opposed to carpet wrapped. Black Friday sale made it a great buy.
My kittens adapted to this tree within a week.They now use it as part of their daily routine for climbing, and napping!

Fairly easy assembly, (took my husband about 30 minutes) and once assembled, is sturdy and good looking. High quality, beautifully finished wood and solid wicker basket make this a hit with our cats. I am a small 78-year-old female and was able to put this tree together. I placed it near a window with lots of bird activity outside and my cat watches for a while then curls up and goes to sleep in the little basket on top. She likes to be up high-tops of kitchen cabinets, top of china cabinet, etc ... . and this satisfies her urge to climb.

The cat I bought this for has really taken to it. It looks nice in my place and is more reasonably priced than the designer brand cat tree I was also considering.The only thing I would say is that when it was fresh out of the box, both of my cats were really interested in smelling a particular spot ... on the tree. They even made their Flehmen-response faces. I’d urge the company to ensure that the workers who make these use sterile gloves and their facilities stay clean of animals.
